The Black Diamond 18" Narrow Polished Tank is a streamlined aquarium perfect for showcasing nano fish, invertebrates, or planted scapes in tighter spaces. Its compact footprint of 460 x 225 x 305mm makes it ideal for homes, offices, or breeder shelves.
The tank is built using 3mm polished glass with precision-cut edges and black silicone seals that not only provide structural strength but also enhance the clean, modern appearance. The white polystyrene base ensures stability while softening any surface imperfections beneath the tank.

Like all glass aquariums, this unit must be placed on a completely level surface to avoid stress cracks or failure. We recommend pairing it with one of our purpose-built stands to ensure stability and safety over time.

Collect in store: For now, orders are collect in store only. At checkout, choose Pickup at Oakfields (Benoni), or the free Collect in store option for Stoneridge (Edenvale) or Woodbridge (Kempton Park). We email you when your order is ready to collect, usually within 2 to 4 days. Nationwide delivery is coming soon.
Damaged? Please check your order when you collect it. If anything is broken or damaged, tell our store team or contact us as soon as you can with photos of the item and the packaging, and we will replace or refund it at no cost to you.
Changed your mind? You can cancel an online order within 7 days after you receive your goods, without giving a reason (ECTA). You pay only the direct cost of returning it. This does not apply to custom builds made to your specifications.
Faulty or not as described? Under the Consumer Protection Act you have 6 months from when you receive an item to return it if it is defective, at our cost, and choose a repair, a replacement or a refund.

How thick is the glass?
The glass thickness for each tank is given in its title or description. Across the Black Diamond range it goes from 3mm glass on the 1ft tanks to a 10mm base with 6mm sides on the 4ft tanks.
Is the silicone clear or black?
Black Silicone Series tanks are sealed with black silicone. The other Black Diamond tanks are sealed with clear silicone.
What is included?
It comes with a white polystyrene base. Everything that is included is listed in the product description. If you are unsure, ask us before you order.
Can I get it delivered?
Not yet. For now, orders are collect in store only. At checkout, choose Pickup at Oakfields (Benoni), or the free Collect in store option for Stoneridge (Edenvale) or Woodbridge (Kempton Park). We email you when it is ready, usually within 2 to 4 days. Nationwide delivery is coming soon.
